New hires, possible cuts, and a grim financial outlook steered the course of last Monday nights regularly scheduled Alpine ISD school board meeting. With all board members in attendance except Single Member District 4, Jimmy Morris, the meeting started with the canvassing of the votes for the May school board election.

Medic Outpost, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit is holding a fundraiser on Saturday, March 18 to raise money as well as awareness of and for their mission. This non-profit focuses on the development of community healthcare in rural areas.
