Alpine issues notice of sewage discharge

The City of Alpine advises the public that an unauthorized discharge or spill has occurred at the City of Alpine Wastewater Treatment Plant. Terlingua cemetery research featured at Jeff Davis County Library

After a career spanning 31 years with the National Park Service at Big Bend National Park, archeologist Tom Alex has taken his encyclopedia knowledge of the region to compile important research of the cemetery and ancestors of Terlingua. A free program offered at the Jeff Davis County Library in Fort Davis will highlight his work on Saturday, March 4 at 11 a.m. Tom has recorded 2887 archeological and historic sites, plus has documented 57 sites containing rock art. He will soon conclude a ten-year sampling survey of cultural sites coordinated with Sul Ross State University. His work in Terlingua examines little known history.

I would like to plant them and enjoy them again. Plant the daffodils into an appropriate part of your perennial garden where they can grow undisturbed.
