Area law enforcement participates in Take Back Day

Officers with the Alpine Police Department and Brewster County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), will participate in the DEA’s bi-annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 26.

Meet Onyx. Onyx came into the shelter as a stray in mid-July, along with her brothers, Beetle and Slate. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is great with other dogs and loves meeting new people.
