As discussed last month, the period from the war with Mexico to the Civil War was a great age of exploration of the American West.

It’s a fun day for both students and parent volunteers at the Alpine Middle School Spring Festival on March 2nd, presented by the middle school PTO. There was no shortage of fun for the whole family as there were plenty of food trucks, games, and more to kick off the start of the spring season.

Running a church involves a healthy dose of prayer, hard work, and a dedicated team, and church youth groups are a fantastic way for young people to get together.

Alpine Humane Society Pet of the Week is Catrina, a long-haired female born Sept. 8, 2021. We think we see a hint of Persian in her face. She is small in stature and, although somewhat shy, warms up quickly.

The Food Pantry of Alpine began distributing food to northern Brewster County residents on Jan. 8 at its new location at 933 East Gallego Avenue in Alpine.
