McDonald’s does a good deed

McDonald’s owner Irma Campbell proudly supports the nonprofit children’s advocacy organization Frontier CASA, Inc., as she presented a check on May 12 to benefit the children Frontier CASA serves. Campbell and McDonald’s of Alpine held a fundraiser on April 30, and 20% of the restaurant’s sales were donated. Veterinarians partner to spay/neuter pets

Alpine Humane Society partnered with Fort Davis Veterinary Services for the recent Big Bend Big Fix 2 to spay and neuter 100 pets on May 14. Donors helped subsidize the cost of the procedures, which included vaccines and other care.
