Judd’s office to be restored

Judd Foundation recently announced that Donald Judd’s architecture office, which was extensively damaged by a fire in June 2021 during the restoration of the building, will be re-constructed. The architecture office is planned to open to the public in spring 2024.

There was plenty of excitement, live music, and colorful parade floats for locals and tourists on Sept. 3 as the Marfa Chamber of Commerce kicks off the Marfa Lights Festival at the event’s 35th anniversary. In what activities did you participate in high school?

I participated in baseballmy junior year, and even though I had surgery on my knee, I learned a lot and made some great friends.

Who was your favorite teacher/coach, and why?

Mrs. Robie Golden is 100% my favorite teacher even though she is also my grandmother. She has helped me in all sorts of ways, and continues to be my biggest fan.
