The Alpine cross country team will host the Big Bend Mountain Ramble mile high cross country race on Saturday, Oct. 1, at Kokernot Park. Races begin at 8:30 a.m., with the race order to be JV girls, varsity girls, JV boys, varsity boys, middle school girls, and middle school boys.

De Leon In what activities did you participate in high school? The activities I have participated in during my high school career has been cross country my freshman and sophomore years, basketball and track all four years, a football trainer junior and senior year, and National Honor Society my junior and senior years. Who was your favorite teacher/coach, and why? My favorite educator and coach throughout my four years has been my Dad, or you may know him as Coach Del.
