The Tri-County Voter Promoters will be set up in multiple locations around the area to register voters for the upcoming November 4 constitutional election. In Alpine, the voter promoters will be at the Morgan University Center on the campus of Sul Ross State University from 11 a.m.

There are a few things you can count on during an early fall night north of El Paso: great border food, the strum of a guitarrón drifting through the desert air, and the Alpine Bucks putting a whooping on the Anthony Wildcats.

The Alpine Lady Bucks made a statement in their first week of district volleyball play, notching two dominant performances and recording a pair of program sweeps. On Tuesday, September 23, Alpine hosted the Kermit Lady Jackets for their district opener inside the Buck Dome.
