Seniors in the Senior CPR class, taught by Ms. Gayla Owen, AISD district nurse, practiced each Wednesday during the month of April the fundamentals of CPR. Students will receive a certification after the class is completed.

Dear Neil: I have an acre of native grasses that I normally mow one time per year, usually in January. This year I wasn’t able to do that, and now I have numerous purple verbena plants growing across it. I’d like to let them reseed themselves. When, if at all, can I mow my field to allow the seeds to spread?

In what activities did you participate in high school? I participated in FFA this year and I showed animals for the past four years. I really didn’t do many activities this year.

There isn’t much that pairs itself better together than lemons and chicken. That said, adding in butter only makes it better.
