Body The 80th Annual Big Bend Livestock Association stock show is set to begin Friday, January 12, but before the competition, comes the preparation, the shearing, and the weigh-ins. Thursday, January 11 is the big weigh-in day from 4 to 6 p.m.

Body 2023 is the centennial year for state parks in Texas, and parks across the state are hosting festivals and celebrations to commemorate this milestone. Locally, Davis Mountains State Park, located just northwest of Fort Davis is hosting their own celebration.
