County, city move forward with ESD

The Brewster County Commissioners held a special meeting on Tuesday morning at 9:30, along with the Alpine City Council, to hear the recommendation of the EMS Task Force regarding the funding and operation of Emergency Medical Service (ground ambulance transportation) in north Brewster County.

Alpine performs well in Houston

Leddy Wood, Brooklyn Hendryx, and Wyatt Renfroe were Alpine’s top placers at last week’s Houston Livestock Show. Wood placed 9th with her Class 3 Market Goat, Hendryx placed 12th with her Class 2 Southdown sheep, and Renfroe took home a fourth-place finish with his Class 2 Southdown sheep.
