On November 14, the Alpine Volunteer Fire Department voted two new firefighters onto the department. Both Members became honorary firefighters in the department and accepted their roles with enthusiasm and excitement.

The Sul Ross Theatre Program hosts its final tour of the award-winning Alpine Ghost Tours: Graveside Tales on Friday, November 22, at 7:30 p.m. at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Alpine.

This year’s Artwalk event will be hosted at 20 different locations in and around downtown Alpine. In addition to 5th Street being blocked off to host art vendors and the Live Music stage, two locations across the tracks on Murphy Street will host art installations. The Alpine Visitor Center will also host events, provide restrooms, and feature all the winners from the Shooting Alpine Contest since its inception.
