The Alpine Police Department is celebrating the 27th Year of Operation Blue Santa. They say it is better to give than to receive and with a Christmas spirit, that’s what the Operation Blue Santa program is all about. There are many children within our community who are less fortunate during the Christmas Holiday, and this is the opportunity that allows you to bless them.

Bon Voyage Karen Our dear friend and neighbor Karen Williams is moving to Oregon. Karen has been a vital part of our community for 46 years.

The Hal Flanders Recycling Center is source separated, which means visitors separate their own recycling at home or on-site. The job of a recycling tech is very important. They assist and educate visitors on how and where to place recycling items. Their goal is to keep recycling streams clean with minimal contamination, and to prevent loads from being landfilled.
