Meet Raven.

Raven was surrendered to the shelter with her seven siblings due to a neglect case from outside the city limits of Alpine.

She is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. She is great on a leash and loves playing with other dogs. She may need a little more potty training to perfect everything, but she keeps her kennel clean during the day and is smart enough to pick up on training quickly.

Meet Lassie.

Lassie has been at the shelter since mid-April; she was running loose outside the city limits with her sister Sloan.

They were not well socialized and were a little leery of people at first, but now Lassie loves to play with other dogs and loves attention.

For the first few seconds with a new person, Lassie can be a little shy but then enjoys the meeting. She is a talker, and this has endeared her to the staff.

She loves treats and toys and is responsive to learning.

Meet Onyx.

Onyx came into the shelter as a stray in mid-July, along with her brothers, Beetle and Slate. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is great with other dogs and loves meeting new people.

Onyx has been practicing walking on a leash, and she improves daily. Like most dogs, she does great with a routine and knows where to go when it’s time to go outside, and she knows her spot inside when it’s time to come in.
