Big Bend Chamber meets in the park

Body Big Bend Chamber of Commerce met for its annual membership and board meeting in Big Bend National Park on Sept. 9. The meeting was held in the outdoor amphitheater at Chisos Basin, and catered by the park lodge. Entrance to the park was free for those attending.

Body The third annual Jackass Flats Dutch Oven Cookoff and Potluck will take place Oct. 8-10 at the bustling hub that is home to the Little Burro Country Store, 55 miles south of Alpine on the east side of U.S. Highway 118.
