John Caldwell Tidball

Body
Although he may have passed through at some point, to the best of my knowledge John Caldwell Tidball never visited Texas. However, he was one of those individuals somewhat lost to history, but a man who lived life to the fullest and had an impact on all of us. Tidball, from Ohio, graduated 11th in the 1848 class of West Point and was assigned as Second Lieutenant to the U.S. Artillery.

The Father’s Love

Body
February is the month of the year that calls our attention to love. It’s that time of the year that we make the effort to show our love towards others. Our human love will be displayed in helping others who are in a tough spot or at a tough time in their life. Our love can be displayed in giving gifts, such as flowers, greeting cards, and candy. Even with all of the displays of red hearts and other decorations, many individuals do not feel nor know love. Listed below is a small selection of scriptures to introduce you to the one who loves best.
