The Alpine Cowboys began their 2023 season with a series loss on the road to the Roswell Invaders May 31-June 2. Alpine started Syracuse, New York, native Dom Spinoso on the mound for opening day. Spinoso tossed 3.2 innings, walking five and striking out eight batters.
