TxDot’s international bridge is now officially open

On Tuesday morning, community leaders, and local, state, federal, and international officials were on hand for the offi cial ceremonial ribbon cutting for the new Presidio International Bridge that is owned and operated by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The ceremony marked the official doubling of the capacity at the border crossing.

The Marathon to Marathon (M2M) celebrates its 20th race this Saturday. This annual event began in 2003 and has been going strong ever since. Attracting locals and visitors alike, this Boston Marathon qualifying race is one of the largest events Marathon hosts, and upwards of over 500 racers descend upon the small community in West Texas, doubling its size with runners and volunteers.
