Body discovered in Alpine Creek

Last Sunday afternoon, the Avalanche received a notice from the Alpine Police Department (APD) that the body of an unidentifi ed male was discovered in the 400 block of West Holland Avenue at the bridge over Alpine Creek. At approximately 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, the Alpine Police Department received a report of a body in Alpine Creek just below the Holland Avenue bridge. Officers responded to find the body of a deceased male, and an investigation was initiated.

The Alpine Fightin’ Bucks traveled to Kermit on Friday, February 7, for their final district matchup before heading into the UIL playoffs. Facing a tough Yellowjackets team on the road, the Bucks showcased their competitive spirit in a tightly contested game that came down to the final seconds, proving their resilience and ability to battle against tough opponents in high-pressure situations.
