The Sul Ross State University Rodeo Team hits the S.A.L.E. Arena tonight for their first rodeo of the season and their first rodeo competition in the new Lone Star Region. This year marks 80 years of rodeo action for Sul Ross. The Avalanche spent some time at the arena last week, observing this year’s athletes during one of their daily practice sessions and speaking with a few of them.
