A monument to the Dreka flying machine

Body
“Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.” — Leonardo da Vinci (1452 –1519), Renaissance artist and inventor who documented his theoretical flying experiments. As a licensed pilot, granted one who hasn’t taken the controls of an aircraft in many years, I can still relate to da Vinci’s intoxicating longing for flight.
