Johny Weyerts, 88, of Alpine, entered into the arms of our loving Savior on March 28. Born on May 1, 1936, Johny spent his formative years during World War II, a conflict that claimed his father’s life when Johny was just eight years old. As a young boy, Johny developed a passion for art and, before graduating high school, learned to stamp and tool leather at a saddle shop in San Angelo.

Beth Ann Collins, lovingly known by her husband as “Cutestuff,” graced this world with her presence from January 11, 1942, until her departure on March 17, 2025. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Beth lived a life filled with purpose, dedication, and love. After completing her education at Rhinelander High School in 1958 and Milwaukee Secretarial College, Beth embarked on a professional journey that showcased her exceptional skills and deep commitment to service.

Jim David Bowen died March 17 in Alpine from the flu. Jim was 78 and a half years old. He was born in Fort Davis on September 4, 1946, and raised by Goldie and Larry A. Martin, in Houston. After attending Deady Junior High and Milby High School in the Houston area, he decided to join the military.
