FIDDLER’S GREEN There is a concept in physics known as the Heisenberg, or Uncertainty, Principle. This idea was conceived by the German physicist Werner Heisenberg who won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1927.

Sul Ross State University is pleased to introduce Sully Shelf, an innovative new partnership with Follett Access to reduce the cost of textbooks and course materials for students starting with the Fall 2024 semester.

This year’s Outstanding Teacher of the Year for 2023-2024 was awarded to Assistant Professor of Music, Dr. Andrew Alegria. This honor was announced on April 30 by Executive Vice President and Provost Bernie Cantens.

Two Sul Ross State University graduate students of Counseling-Clinical Mental Health are each the recipients of a $10,000 grant through a partnership with the University of Texas El Paso and Preventative Care Health Services (PCHS).

WEEK Meet Dee Dee. Dee Dee is a dilute tortoiseshell color, which is beautiful and unusual. She is a loving little couch potato who loves to be held and petted. She will contentedly make biscuits while in the glow of your love until she falls asleep. She was found as a stray but is so sweet that we must assume that she had a home at one time.
