WEEK Alpine Humane Society Pet of the Week is Nala. She is the queen of the cattery. She spends her time wandering around every morning, talking to the other cats, and exploring. We occasionally find her lounging around atop the cat condos or windowsill.

Nine years of National Night Out

October 7, 2014, marked the first ever National Night Out in Alpine. This annual event focuses on building the community and promoting police and community partnerships along with neighborhood camaraderie. The goal is to enhance the relationships within the community to make neighborhoods safer under positive circumstances.

Texas Well Owner Network to host water well screenings

The Texas Well Owner Network, TWON, will host four upcoming meetings for communities in West Texas October 10-13. These meetings will allow residents of Fort Stockton, Pecos, Alpine, Marfa, Fort Davis, Van Horn, and Sanderson to screen their personal water wells.
