Living as children of the light

Body
What was the first thing that God called into existence? It is found in Genesis 1:1 – 4, “In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good.” We are aware of the need for light in our everyday lives, such as its use in photosynthesis and food formation, the production of Vitamin D, correct vision, temperature control, the production of energy, and much more. These are all physical uses, but our need for light in a spiritual sense is even greater.
