The Boquillas Port of Entry within Big Bend National Park, providing access to the town of Boquillas, Coahuila, Mexico, as well as the Mexican Protected Areas of Maderas del Carmen and Ocampo, will change to the winter schedule beginning Wednesday, November 2.

NOV. 10 Alzheimer’s Webinar, will be available in Alpine from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to help people with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory impairment. There is no fee but donations will be accepted. For more information call or text 432-386-2833.

WEEK Alpine Humane Society Pet of the Week is Alonzo. Alonzo is a sensitive and intelligent dog. He was a bit shy on his first days in the Shelter but is coming out of his shell. So far, he has a couple of female companions with which he feels comfortable.
