When it comes to advancing educational goals for the 21st century at Marfa ISD, along with ensuring security and safety for students, the district is at the forefront, and hoping to make a proposed bond project happen.

Children of all ages enjoyed the popular Mr. Will Kids Show, a fun children’s entertainment band from Austin that delighted tykes and toddlers alike at the Alpine Visitor Center pavilion on July 30. “Mr. Will” Dupuy, who was in town for Viva Big Bend weekend, has played hundreds of kids shows across the country. In the early 20th century, France announced Les Trois Sports in the newspaper. The people gathered with enthusiasm to watch a 3k foot race, a 12k biking segment, and then a swim across the Marne Channel, a distance of 200 meters.
