Medical transport company AirMedCare recently purchased First Flight, and many First Flight members questioned whether they were still covered if an emergency arose. AirMedCare Membership Sales Manager Jade Hambright last week explained the transition, saying, “First Flight did have a membership program, but AirMed absorbed those and they are now part of the AirMed membership program.

Holy Angels Cemetery

In a day and age where volunteers are a precious commodity, it’s important to me to thank two volunteers who took time from their busy lives to help clean Holy Angels Cemetery. The cemetery looked like it had been abandoned, with the amount of overgrown brush, graves untended, trash lined up by the fence, and no one in sight taking care of the grounds.

Six-figure salaries a potential for Marathon ISD teachers

Attracting highly qualified teachers has always been a hallmark with Texas school districts, and thanks to House Bill 3 passed by the 86th Texas Legislature in 2019 and signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott, that dream may become a reality for Marathon ISD thanks to the Teacher Incentive Allotment.
