Frank McElhanon’s letter to the Avalanche of Oct. 15, 2020, was addressed “To all politicians,” and rightfully so. There is, however, a missing element in that directive, and it is us. How is it that after repeated scientific studies, this society continues to countenance face masks and lockdowns.

A recent study from Cardiff University revealed that mouthwash with 0.07% CPC kills the Wuhan virus within 30 seconds. Thirty-five minutes in the sunshine kills the virus. The combination of hydroxychloroquine, zithromax, and zinc cures the virus. It makes one wonder why Dr. Fauci and his cohorts would prevent the American public from taking a drug that has been proven safe for over 60 years, resulting in many unnecessary deaths. A revealing chart and a map of death rates worldwide provides the facts. Countries that did not mask, social distance, have lock downs, and used HCQ had markedly lower death rates.

Literally, 99.95% of the people contracting Wuhan flu survive. It should be noted the death rate of folks taking one of the three trial vaccines is higher than those that had the Wuhan flu (90%). If this virus is so deadly, how is it that the death rate for 2020 is virtually the same as in 2019.

I do care that edicts, directives, and restrictions are affecting the health and wellbeing of millions of elderly and children, particularly when they are based on deliberate manipulation of information for political advancement of un-American values. Why are authorities not promoting safe and available treatments? Why are searches on Google, Twitter, Facebook, etc., designed to lead people away from information that contradicts what the government “scientists” are forcing on the public? For that matter, why would groups of doctors reporting on the dangers of lockdowns, masks, and isolation have their posts removed within hours of publication?

Who can you trust in these days of misinformation and lack of information?

Might I suggest - yourself. Take this simple test. Am I sick? Am I capable of judging whether I am sick or not? If I am not sick, then why am I wearing a mask? Do I think if someone wants to wear a mask, that is their right?

Do I wonder how bad a virus can be if it has asymptomatic conditions? Am I aware that a virus attenuates to a weaker form in order for it to survive?
