Gilbert Mesa
Gilbert Donathan Mesa, 46, of Fort Stockton and Alpine, passed away on March 10, in Fort Stockton.
Visitation was held March 16, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main St., Fort Stockton. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. March 16, at Heritage Funeral Home of The Big Bend. Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17, at of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine. Officiating the funeral mass was Father Pablo Matta. Burial followed at Holy Angels Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.
Gilbert Donathan Mesa was born in Hobbs, New Mexico to Gilbert Gonzales Mesa and Yolanda Torres Molinar, on December 5th ,1976. He attended school in Fort Stockton and in Alpine where he graduated in 1995. He worked as a car salesman for Amistad Motors in Fort Stockton for 20 years.
Gilbert Mesa is preceded in the death by grandmothers Ofelia Torres, and Jessie Mesa.
Gilbert Mesa is survived by his children Arissa Andriana Mesa, Zion James Gonzalez, Meghan Paige Aguilar, as well as the mother of his children Toni Aguilar. Gilbert is also survived by his beloved sisters Abigail Delao, Krystal Bentley, Casey Marcee, Chole Mesa, Mia Mesa. Nieces and nephews, Thomas Delao, Tristian Delao, Lexus Sotelo, Jaden Sotelo, Ace Sotelo, Nevaeha Ybarra, Aveynna Peña, and Isdero Navarrete.
Pallbearers were Zion Gonzalez, Jordan Gonzales, Ray Villarreal, Luis Molinar, Israel Martinez, Manuel Lopez.
