As a self-taught architect and imaginative builder, his first undertaking in Marathon was the restoration of the Hargus House. He then began construction of the award-winning Santa Fe-style strawbale home that he completed in 1998. He was the architect of all the original vaults, domes, and fantasy of Eve's Garden Bed and Breakfast. His last project was the transformation of a "tear down" into a beautiful home for a local resident.
He will be remembered for his bold and innovative architecture, a legacy of his creative mind and love of natural building.
Peaceful dreams.......
