Jose Eusevio Ramos was born on July 13, 1961, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He passed away on Sept. 6, 2020, at this home in Alpine, Texas. He was the second oldest of seven children.
Jose was preceded in death by his parents, Eusevio and Irene Ramos, and a sister, Maria de Jesus Marquez. Jose is survived by his wife, Margarita Ramos; children Michelle Cervantes of Odessa, Texas, George Anna Muniz (Rudy Anzuldua) of Andrews, Texas, and Jose Edwardo Ramos and wife Alice of Andrews; grandchildren C, Mari, Gavi, Jay, Clara, and Bradyn; and great grandchildren Savi, BooBoo, Stella, and Alita, all of Andrews.
Jose worked many years for Halliburton as a lead operator. He also drove a truck for many years, and had a passion for trucking. Jose loved cooking, family gatherings, funny movies, and westerns. Clint Eastwood was one of his favorite actors, and the movie, “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” was his favorite western.
Jose loved law enforcement in Odessa, and Odessa Fire Rescue. Jose loved to read the Bible and the word of God. He was a believer in every sense of the word.
Most importantly, Jose loved his family. He was loyal to them until his last breath. His grandkids were his whole world. He was either traveling to see them, grabbing them to take them with him, or calling them on the phone almost daily. His face would light up around them, and it was obvious how much he loved them all.
He will be missed, and there will be a huge void in the Ramos family. We love you and miss you, Apa!
