Brenda Condra, 68, of Alpine, Texas passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 8, 2021.
Born in Waterville, Maine, and raised by the love of her life, her grandmother, Rosetta Dawe, Brenda moved to Texas, Wyoming, and back to Texas, where she lived out the rest of her life devoted to caring for a husband she loved unconditionally for 42 years.
Brenda is survived by her daughters Andrea Quinn of Austin, Texas, and Becky Paiz and husband Joe of Arlington, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Samantha, Michael, Dillon, Dustin and his wife Dulce, and Cody and his wife Josie, as well as her great grandchildren Christian, Victoria, Austin and Alice.
With the heaviest of hearts, we join the many friends and acquaintances she knew and loved in Alpine in mourning her passing, while celebrating her life.
We will continue to remember everyday her wit, her creativity, her wonderful food, her love of Christmas, and her love for the Carpenters, John Denver, and John Lennon.
Our beautiful Mother is high above, looking down on us with our beloved Nanny, finally knowing how loved she was, that all was forgiven, and that she will never be forgotten.
Viewing will be held at Alpine Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 15, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., with a graveside service to follow at 2 p.m. at Elm Grove Cemetery in Alpine.
