Alpine Humane Society Pet of the Week is Busy Bee. It’s hard to believe that this gorgeous girl is 16 years old. Please don’t let her age put you off. Busy Bee’s owner took sick, and surrendered her hoping that her cat would find a comfortable home to live out the rest of her life. She has extraordinary markings, and would love to grace your home with her presence. Let’s get this girl out of the shelter!

By donating items or shopping at the Alpine Humane Society Thrift Store, you directly support our mission of providing better lives to area cats and dogs. The store accepts nearly all donated items. Exceptions are mattresses, box springs, infant car seats, and safety helmets of any kind. Donations can be dropped off during store hours, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

Adoptions are handled by Alpine Animal Services at the city shelter, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., and 2-6 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 2900 East Old Marathon Highway.
