Lady Bucks place 13th in Abilene, boy’s 12th

The Lady Bucks golfers hit the links in Baird last week, completing the 1-3A Regional tournament in 13th place overall. The top competitor for the Alpine girls was Colette Fowlkes, who earned a 17th-place finish out of 96 other golfers. Last year, Evelyn Smith was the only girl to go to Regionals, but this year Alpine qualified an entire team and one medalist. Analia Adame finished in 89th place, with Alice Saunders in 80th, Jenna Vega in 77th, Ashlee Neal in 69th, and Smith in 54th.
