Peace lilies flourish in bright indoor light

Body
Dear Neil: This is my peace lily. It was sitting in my living room eight feet from two windows. I have since moved it to my living room where there is little sunlight. Will that get rid of the leaves with black on their ends? Will that help it produce flowers?

Soccer struggles for both SRSU men, women

Body
Sul Ross’ men’s and women’s soccer teams seem to be struggling on the field this season. With only one win thus far for the men, they are already through over half the season. The women’s team is only up one win over the men’s record. Both teams will meet up with Concordia at home this afternoon, to try and reverse their losing streaks.

Big Bend Octane Fest celebrates it’s fourth year

Body
From inside The Stable, located at 511 West Holland Avenue in downtown Alpine, revving engines of passing vehicles on highway 90 can be heard clearly and often as a greeting to the business and its owner. “They drive by and make some noise to say hello,” Dave Durant, the owner of The Stable shared.
