“Chasing the Panther: Adventures and Misadventures of a Cinematic Life” by Carolyn Pfeiffer and Gregory Collins is a memoir that takes readers on a captivating journey through the world of European cinema, filled with glamour, grit, and unscripted adventures. The title came from Pfeiff er’s time in Europe when a then fiancé said to Carolyn: “Art is like a panther … sometimes if you get too close… it puts its claws in you and it doesn’t let go.”
