Funeral service for Raymond R. Cobos, 60, of Lamesa, was held Friday, March 31, at 12 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home in Lamesa. A burial followed at Dawson County Cemetery. Viewing was Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30, at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.

Bucks crush the Yellowjackets

This past Friday, the Alpine Fightin’Bucks varsity baseball would see some relief after early struggles in their district match ups. The Bucks took on the Kermit Yellowjackets at the Jackets home field that saw the home team fall behind early.
