Annual Live Nativity Dec. 19-21

The Annual Live Nativity, sponsored by Michael’s Mountain Ministry of Alpine, will be held December 19-21 at the stable area by Kokernot Lodge. Performances will begin at 7 p.m. each evening, with coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies served to members of the audience and participants after each night’s performance.

The City of Alpine held its regularly scheduled city council meeting Dec. 6, with a swift meeting that led into an executive session. Ward 1 Council member Judy Stokes and Ward 3 Council member Sara Tandy were both absent, but a quorum was present.

Fishing is a way of life for Sul Ross Anglers

Whether carried out recreationally or competitively, fishing is a sport that can last a lifetime. A pastime, that is attracting more popularity at Sul Ross State University with the Sul Ross Anglers Association, a fishing club initiated in 2021 that is supporting conservation efforts in conjunction with Texas Parks and Wildlife.
