Permian Basin Area Foundation recently announced the opening of the 2022-2023 scholarship cycle. Students and counselors may view eligibility and selection criteria for more than 85 scholarships through the application platform, AcademicWorks, which can be accessed through the Permian Basin Area Foundation website at pbaf.org. The application deadline is March 31.

Jim Davis’ famous cartoon character Garfield had a favorite food, and it was not Friskies. No, this cartoon icon savors that cheesy Italian delight lasagna. I mean, what’s not to love about lasagna. Layers of delicious pasta coated in tomato sauce and layered with meat and a variety of chesses and spices is akin to nectar of the gods. Pair with a salad and a loaf of garlic bread and, voilà, you have a meal fit for a king.
