Jack Randall “Randy” Watts

Jack Randall “Randy” Watts was born in El Paso, Texas on Sept. 9, 1954. He lived in Van Horn, Texas until he graduated high school and then attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas and the University of Texas at Arlington. He moved to Alpine, Texas in 1984.

Randy then became self-employed, and worked construction and landscaping for various residents throughout the Tri-County area. Through work and the love of golf, he made many friends. If he wasn’t working, he was playing golf. He was a hardworking man who earned everything he had.

Randy was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He is survived by his wife, son, step son, step daughter, five grandchildren, a sister, and two nephews.

He passed away at the age of 64 on Monday, March 18, 2019.

A Celebration of Life gathering given by family and friends will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Alpine County Club.

Lady Bucks knocked out of District

The lone senior on the 2019 Lady Buck softball team was catcher and captain Macy Molsbee. She was joined in the festivities by her mother Jackie and her father Bennie on Senior Night in Alpine on April 15.
