Dianne Watson Foxworthy, age 58, passed away on Sept. 24, 2018, at the Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine, Texas. She was born Sept. 1, 1960.

She had recently relocated to Alpine from Fishers, Indiana, for retirement with her husband Brian K. Foxworthy. She was born to Maybelle High and Dovey Watson (both deceased) in Wilson, North Carolina.

She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Education. Dianne loved to travel. She and Brian had visited five continents and almost all 50 states. When choosing a place to retire they chose Alpine for the night sky. Dianne was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and was serving as the secretary for the Paisano chapter in Alpine.

She is survived by her husband, their daughter, Susanna Foxworthy Scott (Daniel), and a grandson Theodore Foxworthy Scott. She is preceded in death by her brother Kim Watson. Memorial donations can be made to Dianne’s favorite charity, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.

Services and interment were held at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana, on Oct. 1, 2018.
