Nora Sanchez Flores, 67, passed away on May 6, 2019 surrounded by her family.

Nora was born on September 27, 1951 in Marfa, Texas to the late Cirildo C. Sanchez and Esperanza Sanchez.  She married Ruben Flores, and together they had three children.  Every Sunday you could find Nora watching NASCAR with her boys, but she also enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking, baking, and camping. Above all, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Nora is preceded in death by her mother, Esperanza Sanchez.

Survivors include her loving husband Ruben Flores of Weatherford, Texas; sons Ronnie Flores (Lilly) of Fort Worth, Texas, Randy Flores (Cristina) of Odessa, Texas, and Dennis Flores (Brenda) of Euless, Texas; sisters Yolanda Espino (Billy) of Fort Stockton, Texas, Avelia Chanowski (Richard) of Lakeview Terrace, California, and Corina Gomez (Leo) of El Paso, Texas; brother Henry Sanchez (Mariah) of Porter, Texas; grandchildren Helio and Sofia of Fort Worth, Maddy and Riley of China Springs, Texas, and Tomas and Devin of Euless; and a host of loving friends.

Bucks fall to Hawks in Quarterfinals

Leftfielder Travis Ruckman had assistant coach Hugh Morrissey fired up during game one of the Regional Quarterfinals on May 17 in Midland. His third inning two-run single gave Alpine an early lead against Wall who went on to score 35 runs in two wins over Alpine.
