Riders on the Orphan Train, July 3 at 7 p.m. and July 4 at 4 p.m. at the Jeff Davis County Library, 100 Jefferson Square, Fort Davis. One-hour multi-media program combine live music, video and photographs to inform, inspire and raise awareness about this little-known part of history.

Kiwanis Club Annual Celebration Parade, line-up 4:15-5 p.m. east on Sul Ross beginning at Porter’s Thriftway, parade begins at 5 p.m. and runs north on 5th Street.
