County gets tanker truck

Posted: Thursday, February 21, 2019 8:49 am | Updated: 8:51 am, Thu Feb 21, 2019.

Brewster County on Monday dedicated a $160,000 tanker truck, and County Judge Eleazar Cano credited Energy Transfer Partners, Congressman Will Hurd, and USDA’s John Perkins for helping make it happen.

According to Cano, early last year, ETP, owner of the Trans-Pecos pipeline, gave the county a half-million dollar check with no strings attached except to use the money wisely.

Not only may we now put out fires in Brewster County; but, if need be, we can also water our Texas Beef with this tanker!

What an awesome allocation of funds; both those of our county & those of our federal government!
Frugal, well-aimed, and without future possible negation. Very necessary!
