Church converted in Redford

A unique lodging option popped up in Redford, or more technically, Polvo, an even tinier suburb to Redford’s posted population of 90. There are few indications of inhabitants in this Presidio County former ranching community, making it a true ghost town.

Lodging is in an historic adobe church, formerly called Church of San Jose del Polvo, erected in 1914. It was last used as a private residence before being abandoned, Redford resident Charlie Angell explained.
