Another general meeting will be at 5 p.m. Dec. 1 for those interested in the Alpine food Pantry. The meeting will be held at the Fellowship Hall at University Baptist Church. Johnson said a light supper will be provided, so if you’re planning to come, let him know.

Alpine Food Pantry officers include: chairman, the Rev. Larry Johnson, University Baptist Church; vice chairman, Margaret Underwood, University Baptist Church; secretary, Deacon Paul Lister, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church; treasurer, the Rev. John Medvick, Holy Cross Anglican Church; public relations, Greg Schwab, Sul Ross State University; legal adviser, the Rev. Jo Beth McLeod, First Presbyterian Church.
