ArtWalk silent auction to be at Granada
Avalanche staff
The silent auction in the newly renovated Granada Theater should be everyone’s first stop for this year’s ArtWalk, which is Nov. 21-22.
Donations from participating artists and locations will provide a snapshot of the entire event to help visitors plan their itinerary while bidding for fantastic artwork and supporting the Alpine Public Library.
Additional donations from many notable area artists will enhance the auction’s offerings, including pieces from premier Western artists Wayne Baiz and Mike Capron and engraver Johnny Weyerts.
Bidding will open Friday and Saturday at 10 a.m. and continues all day, closing Friday at 10 p.m. and concluding Saturday at 8 p.m. Auction results will be announced at 9 p.m. Saturday and winners can pick up their items until 10 p.m.
Bidders who cannot be at the pick-up between 9 p.m. and
10 p.m. will be asked to make make other pick-up arrangements when they sign up.
Anyone over 18 can sign up to bid. Winners can pay with cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.
All proceeds from the ArtWalk silent auction will go to the Alpine Public Library’s Building Campaign.
Come see the rebirth of the historic Granada Theater, get a quick overview of the entire ArtWalk event, and possibly walk away with some fantastic art at a great price!
