Rep. Rodriguez plans visit to Far West Texas towns

Congressman Ciro Rodriguez, D-District 23, will travel throughout the district next week to visit with constituents, discuss veterans’ issues, concerns about the economy and job security.
“It’s important to me to visit with people from all over my district to tell them about the work we’ve been doing but also to learn what it is that’s most affecting their lives,” Rodriguez said.

Monday
Fort Hancock community event, 10:30-11:30 a.m., Fort Hancock Independent School District; open to the public
Sierra Blanca community event, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Hudspeth County Courthouse; open to the public
Van Horn community event, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Van Horn Civic Center; open to the public
Tuesday
Pecos tour of Applied Research Facility, 8-9 a.m.; open to press
Fort Stockton flag-raising event, 10-10:30 a.m., Pecos County Courthouse; open to the public

Wednesday
